Modular Kitchen Cost in Noida (2026): Price Guide and What Affects It

Aditya Dixit October 19, 2026

What a modular kitchen costs in Noida in 2026, by layout and size, what drives the price up or down, and how to compare quotes before you sign.

A complete modular kitchen in Noida costs anywhere from about 1.5 lakh rupees for a compact laminate L-shaped kitchen to 8 lakh rupees and above for a large U-shaped or island kitchen in premium finishes. The size of the kitchen, the layout, the boards and shutters you choose, the hardware brand and how much civil and electrical work the room needs decide where your kitchen lands in that range. This guide walks through each of those so you can set a realistic budget before you ask for quotes.

Quick answer: typical modular kitchen prices in Noida (2026)

  • Compact L-shaped kitchen (about 8 x 10 ft), laminate shutters, branded soft-close hardware: roughly 1.5 to 3 lakh rupees.

  • Mid-range L-shaped or parallel kitchen (8 x 10 to 10 x 12 ft), acrylic or PU shutters, tall unit and pull-outs: roughly 3 to 5 lakh rupees.

  • Large U-shaped or island kitchen (10 x 12 ft and above), premium finishes, full accessories: roughly 5 to 8 lakh rupees and above.

These are indicative ranges for Noida and Delhi NCR, not quotes. Countertop, civil work, electrical, plumbing and the chimney are usually priced separately, which is why two quotes for the same kitchen can look very different until you line up what each one includes.

How much does a 10 x 8 modular kitchen cost?

A 10 x 8 ft kitchen is the most common size in Noida 2BHK and 3BHK flats, so it is the question we hear most. With moisture-resistant boards, soft-close hardware and a laminate finish, the modular units typically cost 1.5 to 2.5 lakh rupees. Switching to acrylic or PU shutters, adding a tall unit for the fridge and oven, and fitting accessories such as a corner carousel and bottle pull-outs takes the same kitchen to roughly 3 to 4 lakh rupees. Add the countertop, backsplash, electrical points and chimney, and a fully finished 10 x 8 kitchen most often lands between 2.5 and 5 lakh rupees.

What decides the price

1. Size and layout

Cost is driven by the running feet of cabinets, not just floor area. An L-shaped kitchen has two runs, a U-shaped kitchen three, and an island adds a free-standing unit with its own countertop and often a second electrical circuit. Parallel kitchens are the most efficient per square foot because both runs are short and there is no corner unit to pay for.

2. Carcass boards

The box of each cabinet is where the money is best spent. BWP (boiling water proof) plywood, HDHMR (high-density, high-moisture-resistant) board and Boilo BWP-FR HDF all cost more than plain MDF or particle board, and all of them survive steam, spills and a leaking sink far longer. Using HDHMR for the dry units and BWP or Boilo under the sink is a sensible way to control cost without compromising where it matters.

3. Shutter finish

Laminate is the most economical and comes in hundreds of colours and textures. Acrylic gives a high-gloss, mirror-like face and costs more. PU paint gives a seamless matt or gloss finish in any shade and sits at the top of the range. Membrane and veneer fall in between. Mixing finishes, for example laminate below the counter and acrylic above, is a common way to keep the look while trimming the bill.

4. Hardware and accessories

Branded soft-close hinges and drawer channels can add 15 to 25 percent to the modular cost compared with unbranded fittings, and they are the difference between a kitchen that still closes smoothly after five years and one that does not. Accessories such as tall pull-outs, corner solutions, cutlery trays and under-sink organisers are priced per unit; choose the three or four you will use daily rather than the whole catalogue.

5. Countertop

Granite remains the most practical and economical choice for Indian cooking. Quartz costs more and gives a uniform, low-maintenance surface. Nano white and sintered stone are premium options. The countertop is usually 10 to 20 percent of the total kitchen cost.

6. Civil, electrical and plumbing work

Builder kitchens often need the platform re-levelled, new points for the hob, chimney, microwave, dishwasher and water purifier, and the sink or gas line moved. In a renovation this can be 10 to 20 percent of the budget. Keeping the sink and gas points where they are is the single biggest saving in a kitchen renovation.

Sample budgets for Noida flats

  • 2BHK, 8 x 10 ft L-shaped, first kitchen on a tight budget: HDHMR carcass, laminate shutters, granite top, branded hinges, no tall unit: about 2 to 2.5 lakh rupees all in.

  • 3BHK, 9 x 11 ft L-shaped with tall unit: BWP under the sink, acrylic upper shutters, quartz top, chimney and hob points, two pull-outs: about 3.5 to 4.5 lakh rupees.

  • 3BHK or 4BHK, 11 x 13 ft U-shaped or island: PU shutters, quartz or sintered top, full accessories, under-cabinet lighting, dishwasher point: about 6 to 8 lakh rupees.

Renovating an existing kitchen versus building new

If the granite platform is level and sound, new base units can be built around it and the civil cost drops. Old cabinets are rarely worth keeping because the boards and hinges are the parts that fail first, but a stone countertop in good condition, doors and handles can be retained. Dismantling and debris removal from a high-rise society adds a small fixed cost that a brand-new flat does not carry.

How to compare kitchen quotes

  • Ask for an itemised estimate: modular units, hardware, accessories, countertop, civil, electrical, plumbing, chimney and installation listed separately.

  • Check the board grade and brand for the carcass, and the hinge and channel brand, in writing.

  • Confirm what warranty covers the boards, the hardware and the workmanship, and who services it.

  • Ask for a written timeline. Most kitchens in Noida take four to seven weeks from design sign-off to handover.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cost of a modular kitchen per square foot in Noida?

Modular kitchens are priced by the running foot of cabinets rather than floor area, but as a rough check, finished kitchens in Noida work out to about 1,800 to 4,000 rupees per square foot of floor area, depending on finishes and accessories.

Is a modular kitchen cheaper than a carpenter-made kitchen?

A basic carpenter-made kitchen can be cheaper upfront, but factory-cut modular units are more accurate, faster to install and easier to repair or extend, and branded hardware and moisture-resistant boards are easier to verify. Over the life of the kitchen the modular option usually costs less.

How long does a modular kitchen take in Noida?

Typically four to seven weeks from design sign-off to handover, depending on civil work and finishes. Society working hours and material-movement rules can add a few days in high-rise projects.

Do these prices include appliances?

No. Hob, chimney, oven and dishwasher are quoted separately unless you ask the kitchen company to supply them. The estimate should include the cut-outs and electrical points for them.
